Thanks for those who’ve submitted proposals
from Cynthia
Special thanks to all who have taken the time to submit proposals and a few more are trickling in. The hive mind of the spirit is definitely at work and smiley faces should be arriving to the group shortly.
Since entering the virtual domain, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to connect with new friends from all over the world – what my husband endearingly refers to as the virtual ecclesia. It continues to amaze me that one can embark on journeys with people one has never met and accomplish tasks globally without leaving ones home or office – lately it has been very surreal to watch projects for good unfold, bridging incredible gaps of distance and disparity and which take shape offline through online connections. I’m hooked. And committed.
With all the online connections, I’ve had relatively few opportunities to actually meet online friends offline, Friday being one such occasion as John and I had the opportunity to meet up with Missio Dei’s Jonathan Brink. Jonathan has an amazing heart for advocacy and reconciliation as do other contributing authors. The on and off line dialog inspired me to believe that something larger and different than expected may occur for this project. I realized (referring to bridging gaps) that with God, all things are possible. The flight pattern for me has shifted somewhat No matter which direction I fly it will be toward the heart and freedom of God, whose mission and grand design is to restore all things through Christ - this is my hope for others.
